This Type X fire-resistant drywall panel is ideal for any residential and commercial projects, new construction and renovation alike. It features bevelled edges for an easy installation process as well as long edges that are slightly tapered, allowing joints to be reinforced and concealed with joint tape and joint compound. Its standard gypsum material is placed over a heat-resistant core that will slow the spread of flames in case of a fire. This drywall panel is also Greenguard certified, meaning that its low VOC emissions won’t significantly impact the air quality in buildings in which it’s used.
